Cloud Revenue (non-IFRS)

Our cloud business continued to demonstrate strong growth in 2019, with non-IFRS cloud revenue growing 40% from €5.03 billion in 2018 to €7.01 billion.

2019 was a successful year for SAP, once again achieving double-digit growth in non-IFRS  total revenue, which increased 12% to €27.63 billion (2018: €24.71 billion).

Operating Margin (non-IFRS)

We continued to focus on operational efficiency in 2019. This contributed to a year-over-year increase of 0.7 percentage points in non-IFRS operating margin.

Operating Profit (non-IFRS)

We were able to surpass our excellent results from 2018, despite our continued investment in our business transformation. Non-IFRS operating profit in 2019 was €8.21 billion (2018: €7.16 billion), reflecting an increase of 15%.

Dividend per Share

We believe our shareholders should participate in our success. Therefore, we have proposed the dividend be increased by 5% to €1.58 per share (2018: €1.50). The 2019 dividend is pending approval of the Annual General Meeting on May 20, 2020.

Relative Share Price Performance vs. Major Indices

SAP stock gained 38.4%, once again outperforming the benchmark indexes DAX 30 and NASDAQ 100, which grew 25.5% and 38.0%, respectively. With a market capitalization of €147.8 billion, SAP continues to be the most valuable DAX company by far.
