External Worker Application (EWA) Digitalization
SAP has improved the activation process for External Workers by digitalizing it. This reduces manual effort, email traffic, and paper usage, while improving data quality. SAP has improved its processes when activating an External Worker.
Previously, this process was delivered manually by the supplier and
the workers. This change will result in:
• Reduction of manual effort for all parties involved in the
onboarding process.
• Reduction of email traffic between Supplier and Worker.
• Improvement of data quality of External Workers in SAP
Fieldglass.
• Improve environmental sustainability by eliminating
printing thousands of papers per year.
By utilizing the EWA process, External Workers will automatically
receive an email, containing a unique URL to fill in their information,
read the relevant SAP Policies, sign and upload the necessary
documents. Once the worker completes the activation process, the
data will be automatically integrated into Fieldglass, marking the
worker as activated.
