The innovation lies in its agent-based architecture, orchestrated through Joule. SmartBot transforms how employees “talk to their data,” replacing fragmented navigation with a dynamic natural language interface that helps users bridge the gap between customer POs, sales orders, and purchase orders through automated data orchestration—and with greater accuracy and speed than before. The agent-based intelligence helps professionals supersize the number of queries processed and enables immediate decision-making by integrating AI-driven results with approval workflows. With agent-powered, personalised processes that streamline the query process down to just seconds, employees are no longer weighed down by technical complexity—they’re empowered by insights.

In HR, LC Waikiki migrated its legacy system to a cloud-native ecosystem, setting the foundation for stronger organisational agility and better employee experiences. At the heart of the new solution is a generative AI agent, built on SAP Joule, that’s integrated directly within the current Microsoft Teams workflow. The agent helps employees quickly tackle HR transactions like leave requests and payroll queries using natural language conversations. And the 24/7 mobile and desktop access means employees maintain convenience and flexibility, while executing administrative HR tasks in just seconds.

LC Waikiki partnered with NTT DATA Business Solutions as its primary strategic implementation partner. NTT DATA’s technical expertise was instrumental across the entire project lifecycle, from the initial requirements analysis to architecting the solutions and ensuring seamless testing, validation, and optimisation. Together, LC Waikiki and NTT DATA transformed complex procurement and HR processes into user-friendly, efficient workflows with intelligence at their core.
