How to Enter

Entering the SAP Innovation Awards is simple, just follow the four steps below…

Register your interest (optional)

By registering your interest, you will receive entry assistance and will be added to the distribution list to receive alerts of key deadlines and updates to the program. Send your completed registration of interest to sapinnovationawards@sap.com by 9AM PST on Feb 2, 2018

Prepare your Pitch Deck (required)

The Pitch Deck is a vital tool for preparing and submitting your entry.
Maximize your chance of winning by submitting a compelling and well-structured story. Once posted, you can continually refine your Pitch Deck until the end of the submission period.

Complete your Entry Form (required)

Along with the Pitch Deck, you must also complete an Entry Form that includes some basic information about you (participant) and your company. If you are submitting on behalf of a customer, you will need to provide the customer’s information in the participant section and your information in the submitter section.

Submit your Entry (required)

Once you have finalized both your Pitch Deck and Entry Form, you are ready to submit your entry.

By submitting your entry, you acknowledge that you have read the Official Rules, and you agree that your participation in the SAP Innovation Awards (and the participation of any third party on whose behalf you are submitting the entry) will be governed by the Official Rules.

Email your complete entry to sapinnovationawards@sap.com. Please ensure your submission contains the following key attachments:

  • Entry Form - although some sections of the Entry Form may be published, the Entry Form will not be published in its entirety
  • Pitch deck - this will be published publicly on the website and used to promote your entry   
  • Participant Logos (Company and Partner, if applicable) – these will be published publicly on the website and used to promote your entry
  • Participant Photo – this will be published publicly on the website and used to promote your entry
  • If you are submitting on behalf of a customer, you will need to attach an email from the customer, verifying that they have consented to participate

After you submit your entry, an SAP representative will review your entry to check if it meets the eligibility criteria and may contact you to ask any remaining questions. If your submission meets the eligibility criteria, you will receive a confirmatory link to your entry and a unique submission ID. During the submission period, you will be able to return to the site and make changes or additions to your entry using your unique submission ID. Entries will close, March 2, 2018 at 6:00PM PST.
