SAP LeanIX solutions, fact sheet field calculations

Turn plain-language business rules into custom calculations.

Overview

cb-start

Custom calculations have always made SAP LeanIX more powerful, but writing the JavaScript has kept them out of reach for many admins and enterprise architects. AI-assisted fact sheet field calculations changes that, enabling you to describe the business rule you want in plain language, and letting LeanIX generate working calculation code grounded in your workspace: your fact sheet types, fields, relations, and enums. The output is readable, commented, and ready to run. For enterprise architects, this means moving from a business question to a working calculation in minutes, without waiting for a developer. For workspace admins, it removes a bottleneck that has slowed self-service configuration. For collaborators downstream, it means the metrics and views that depend on calculated fields arrive faster and stay maintainable.

Benefits

Increase EA productivity, with architects building the calculations they need themselves, in minutes, instead of queueing for developer support
Self-service workspace configuration, with admins extending one of LeanIX's most powerful capabilities to non-technical users across their organization
Faster time-to-insight, with business questions becoming working metrics in the same session, closing the gap between asking and answering
Higher adoption of calculations - a feature that was previously gated by JavaScript skills becomes accessible to every admin who needs it
Reduced dependency on technical experts - routine calculation work no longer requires engineering or support time
