The combined strengths of SAP and Planon holistically connect buildings, people, and processes. SAP Cloud ERP serves as the backbone for managing end-to-end business processes, while Planon provides vertical real estate and facility management software. Planon is part of Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation for buildings.

SAP Contract and Lease Management continues to be the SAP solution for processing leasing (in compliance with standards set by IFRS 16, GAAP 842, and the local commercial code) for all types of leased assets.

SAP S/4HANA for contract, lease, and real estate management functions remain available. However, all future innovations—including AI capabilities, Fiori UI enhancements, and SAP Business Data Cloud products—will be developed exclusively for SAP Contract and Lease Management and its integration with SAP Real Estate and Facilities Management by Planon.
