Cristiano Silveira

Support Engineer, SAP Labs Latin America

Christino's Story

At SAP, we believe that when you bring everything you are, you can become everything you want.

I believe it is important to help people because people create more good things.

Cristiano Silveira

Cristiano has worked for SAP for 8+ years as a support engineer. He enjoys working in a global capacity and expanding his network beyond his physical office in Sao Leopoldo, Brazil. But what he loves most is being able to help others.

"I have had such great experiences and opportunities at SAP. One fond memory is when I volunteered at a local school for one month in an underprivileged neighborhood as part of the SAP social sabbatical program. I taught students that they can be successful if you really care about what you do", Cristiano shared.

The SAP Social Sabbatical initiative is a portfolio of pro bono volunteering programs where highly diverse teams of SAP employees solve strategic challenges of nonprofits and social enterprises focused on bridging the digital divide.

Cristiano and SAP colleagues helped to make an impact of improving students’ lives at a local school while strengthening their leadership competencies and cross-industry sector know-how. They developed software for a local high school to track the progress of its students in order to keep them from dropping out.

SAP’s Social Sabbatical programs are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to turn our vision to help the world run better and improve people’s lives into action. This has allowed Cristiano to find his version of success.
