See Legal Notice on www.sap.com/legal-notice for use terms, disclaimers, disclosures, or restrictions related to this material.INTRODUCTIONThis guide outlines the criteria for SAP partners1 to successfully pass SAP’s partner solution review, also known asApplication Readiness Check (ARC).OBJECTIVEThe purpose of the solution review process is to ensure that the partner solution meets minimum SAPrequirements and compliance criteria as stipulated in relevant SAP partner agreements as well as this guide.PROCESSA prerequisite for starting the solution review process is that the partner solution is ready to go to market, i.e.solution development has been completed.The solution review process consists of two steps:1. Partner provides solution details by answering a questionnaire.2. SAP reviews solution details provided by the partner.Once a partner has submitted the questionnaire, SAP reviews the submission against the criteria listed in the nextchapter. If the criteria are met, the solution details are approved. If one or more criteria are not met, the partner isrequested to provide clarification.The solution review has three possible outcomes: Completed the solution details have been assessed and approved. Clarification Required SAP requires more information to evaluate the partner solution. Rejected the solution does not meet SAP’s requirements or compliance criteria.The solution review process applies to SAP PartnerEdge Build partners as well as SAP OEM partners.SAP PartnerEdge Build partnersCompleting the solution review (aka Application Readiness Check) is an entry requirement of the SAPPartnerEdge Build track. Please refer to the SAP PartnerEdge program guide for more information on programrequirements. The SAP PartnerEdge Open Ecosystem Build specialization is the entry tier to SAP PartnerEdge Build, allowing partners to avail of resources such as test and development licensing services required tocomplete solution development.New partners that want to join SAP PartnerEdge Build need to provide details about their solution and answersto the questionnaire in the application form accessible via sap.com.Existing SAP PartnerEdge Build partners can start the solution review/ARC process using SAP Solution Hub.SAP OEM partnersThe solution review is mandatory for SAP OEM partners wanting to list and transact their solution on SAP Store.1 In context of this guide, 'SAP partner either refers to an entity having an active SAP partnership agreement oraspiring to sign one

(see SAP Naming Guidelines for details). Basic Information From a dropdown list, select the SAP components used by the partner solution,upload architecture diagram2 and select the contractual engagement with SAP the solution is to be soldunder. Business Value A brief description of the solution, what it does and the value it offers customers. Uploada solution demo and any relevant marketing material. Compliance Answer a series of questions to confirm the solution is ready to be sold, that the partner isthe IP owner of the solution, if the customer can bundle SAP cloud services independently from thepartners solution, if the solution requires an AIR Key, if the solution requires ICC certification. Self-declaration Partner must declare that they are the owner of the IP, provide details of the supportoptions they offer and confirm that the solution is ready to be sold on the market. Support Provide the support options available for the solution such as e-mail address, hotline numberor website address.SAP Certification InformationSAP Integration and Certification Center (ICC) provides certification services at an additional fee. This is a separateprocess to the solution review. However, it is important to note that there are some specific developmentscenarios where ICC certification will be required to complete the solution review.Mandatory certification is required for the following scenario: If a partner is delivering a solution that integrates with the SAP digital payment add-on. The certification willbe limited to the partner solutions’ functions that have been implemented for use with the SAP digitalpayments add-on.For more information about solution certification, please see the ‘Certification Scenarios’ section on SAPIntegration and Certification Center website.Please note, beyond the scenario above, SAP reserves the right to require a certification where and when deemednecessary.Existing certification: If a partner solution is already certified by SAP ICC and is in good standing with a validcertificate, the partner is still required to fill-out and submit the solution details questionnaire to ensure propersolution registration as outlined above.New certification: A partner can pursue a new certification at an additional fee.
