Offices designed by employees for employees

Employees across our business units were involved in designing and equipping the new Metronom spaces to truly reflect their preferences. As an ultra-modern and agile work environment, the Metronom features themed relaxation rooms, a gym and outdoor fitness stations, billiard tables and table football, a sky bar, terraces with small gardens that can be used for shared urban gardening, phone booths and privacy pods, a kids’ room, and more.

Smart and flexible

The Metronom office was designed with an emphasis on a smart and flexible way of working, and is equipped with the most modern technologies. The space promotes a healthy lifestyle with ergonomic tables and chairs, bicycle holders and repair tools, fitness areas, and terraces for grilling and gardening.

Energy-efficient

Metronom is a BREEAM-certified, energy-efficient building and aims to minimize carbon dioxide emissions, rationalize the use of natural sources, limit risks to health and the environment, and minimize energy consumption. The building is constructed from local and ecologically accredited materials and the furniture was selected for its low environmental impact. The building also supports waste sorting and the energy consumption is monitored through presence detectors.

True heroes

True heroes often don’t look like heroes. They come in all shapes and sizes and make a difference in so many ways. Each of us can be a hero and apply our unique talent and time to help improve lives of those who need it. This is the purpose of our annual "Month of Service". In 2018, 319 SAP employees in the Czech Republic volunteered across 43 available projects adding up to a 2,522 volunteering hours.

SAP Internship Experience Program

SAP Internship Experience Program is a global internship program that has been successfully running since 2014. Within the program, we are hiring for all lines of SAP business based in Prague and Brno. We offer internship opportunities within Finance, HR, Software Development to IT Management, Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, and more. The internship is paid, lasts 6 months and can be full-time or part-time (depends on the position). Successful interns can prolong the contract or look for full-time opportunities.

SAP Labs Brno Development Center

Officially established in early 1998, the SAP Brno Development Center focuses on the localization of products for Central and Eastern Europe. It also participates in the development and subsequent maintenance of new products through cooperation with development teams at SAP headquarters in Germany.
