Are you a passionate and driven self-starter with up to three years' experience? We will provide you with an innovative training experience, skills, and confidence that enables you to build a successful foundation to engage with customers, and help solve their unique business challenges.
The Sales Academy represents a great opportunity of learning with people from all around the world and engaging with SAP executives and top leaders. Part of it should happen in the USA. However, due to the global pandemic most my experience was virtual. I did my onboarding from home, and I met all my colleagues on a laptop screen. I expected the experience to be impersonal and complex, but I was positively surprised with how welcoming it was designed. I can’t mention a single person who didn’t offer me support. During the 9-months Program I experienced not only the multi-cultural and global learning environment, but also the day-to-day activities among the Portuguese team. I got the chance to be involved in internal sessions, accompany colleagues in client’s meetings, and play a role in background tasks such as building an account plan and defining strategic actions. The learn-and-apply approach allowed me to grow professionally, improve skills, and be ready to transition into my sales role. Managing a group of accounts in an large, global company as SAP, working with business leaders and influencing critical business decisons, represents a great responsibility. Being part of such a challenging and fast-paced technological environment as well as the people at SAP, motivates me every day.

When I joined SAP, I wanted to learn while working in one of the biggest IT companies in the world. I was not expecting, however, that along with our product, the biggest asset was the great people I got to know and the great environment that the company fosters amongst all employees. At SAP, I’ve worked in projects all over the world which made me a better professional and a better person by being exposed to several different ways of working and thinking, while maintaining a perfect work-life balance.
At SAP, from the first day of onboarding, I feel really supported by my team. Their concern to guarantee that I’m adapted to the company culture as quickly as possible is a major plus. I am confronted with new and stimulating challenges on a daily basis, I always have tools at my disposal that allow me to develop new skills and the presence of a buddy is essential to the adaptation process.
