You call up the infection message you want to submit from your HIS system. The web form is pre-filled with the available data, and you only have to complete and submit the data. You will receive a confirmation of dispatch.

Transferring Data from and to the Hospital Information System
All relevant Data from the Hospital Information System are transferred to the Webinterface to prefill it. A sent and receive confirmation can be returned to the HIS and can be assigned automatically.
Reports directly to DEMIS and the health department
You can select the type of report, depending on the disease, that you want to send. All reports are sent directly to DEMIS via FHIR or transmitted to the health authorities by fax, depending on the disease. Changes to the transmission paths are made by ELIM in the background automatically.
Expansion of infection notifications
With the start of the new Infection Protection Act according to § 6, 8 and 9, a Multitude of new reporting processes necessary. All processes are covered by ELIM. Not only the reports about COVID -19, but also about influenza, for example.
