Volunteerism at SAP

placeholder

SAP encourages employee volunteerism year-round through company- and employee-led engagements. We partner with different Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to create positive social change in our communities  across the United States and Canada. We believe in the power of volunteering.

Our signature corporate-led volunteering initiative is our Month of Service held in October annually, where more than 300 projects are executed across North America. We also encourage employee-led volunteerism throughout the year. In April 2017 we launched our first “Spring Into Service” initiative, a campaign where employees themselves identify, plan and implement service projects for causes they are passionate about. In 2017, over 10,500 SAP employees volunteered more than 41,000 hours in 35 cities. Additionally, employees contributed more than 9,800 hours of their time and talents through to skills-based volunteering, with a focus on STEM education and entrepreneurship programs.
