SAP LeanIX solutions, automation creation

Build automations in SAP LeanIX from plain-English descriptions.

Overview

cb-start

Automations are how enterprise architects scale their practice: keeping fact sheets current, routing reviews, triggering surveys, and syncing changes across the workspace. The problem has always been setup. Configuring triggers, conditions, and actions requires technical expertise in the platform's automation logic, so automations end up being something EAs design but someone with that expertise has to build. AI-assisted automation creation removes the barrier. Describe the workflow you want in plain language, and LeanIX generates a complete automation: the right trigger, conditions, and actions, with field mappings drawn from your workspace. For enterprise architects, that means going from "we should automate this" to a working automation in the same session. Scenarios that previously required technical expertise, like onboarding workflows, lifecycle nudges, and governance checkpoints, become things you build yourself.

Benefits

Increased EA productivity: Architects build the automations they need themselves
Self-service workflow design: Plain-language descriptions replace the technical expertise previously required to configure automations
Faster scaling of EA practice: More workflows get automated because the barrier to building them has dropped to writing a sentence
Higher adoption of automations: A feature that was previously gated by technical expertise becomes accessible to every architect who needs it
Reduced dependency on technical experts: Routine automation work no longer needs to wait on the people who know the configuration syntax
