This accelerated implementation,reduced costs, and established a transparent, secure, andadaptable digital core. The standardized platform offersconfigurability without technical debt, enabling seamlessadoption of new features, service integrations, and AI scalability.Unlike legacy on-premise systems, our cloud model keeps PwCcontinuously updated. Central to this success were governanceframeworks, change coalitions, and comprehensive training thatboosted confidence and adoption.PwC is now the largest adopter of SAP Public Cloud globally,with Europe live since '22 and the US and Japan joining in '25,covering 19 countries. Compared to legacy ERP, financialoperations are faster, closing cycles shorter, governancestronger, and automation has reduced manual work.Eliminating custom code lowered technical debt, increasedagility, and ensured faster SAP upgrades. Joule copilots andcustom AI provide instant insights, transforming decision-making. With more than 100 different ERP systems, we've beenable to harmonize 50% of the systems and processes to date.PwC uniquely operates on SAP S/4HANA Cloud internally andleads in helping clients adopt it. Ultimately, PwC intended to enable fasterfinancial operations, lower costs, continuous upgrades, and position itself asboth a leading adopter and trusted advisor in SAP Public Cloud and SAPBusiness Suite implementations.The wow factor lies in PwC’s bold transformation from a complex, fragmentedlegacy ERP landscape spanning 160+ independent member firms into one ofthe world’s largest and most advanced adopters of SAP S/4HANA Cloud.By embracing a fit-to-standard approach and eliminating costlycustomizations, PwC not only accelerated implementation and reducedtechnical debt but also established a transparent, secure, and continuouslyevolving digital core. This foundation seamlessly integrates cutting-edgeautomation and AI, dramatically improving efficiency and decision-making.Implementation is planned in three to five waves with a faster, standardizedmulti-deployment approach. End-to-end gaps for business use cases will beclosed through further system enhancements. The TOM will be standardizedacross the network, including centralized finance via regional hubs.
