ARD: Broadcasting network bundles its forces and saves over €10 million annually

The nine ARD regional broadcasting corporations, Deutschlandradio, and Deutsche Welle have centralized their administration and harmonized more than 180 processes on a shared SAP platform. Achieving 90% harmonization and 70% standardization cuts IT costs in half and saves more than ten million euros annually. The resources saved can now be directed to where they create the greatest value: journalistic quality and digital offerings. Download the Document
