The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) is the Philippines’ largest private electric
distribution utility, serving more than eight million customers across Metro Manila and
nearby provinces. Headquartered in Pasig City, Meralco delivers reliable, efficient, and
sustainable power, while continuously strengthening its operational capabilities in
support of long-term service excellence.
To support its RISE with SAP journey and strengthen core enterprise systems and
operations, Meralco engaged SAP Premium Engagement services, including SAP North
Star Architecture Services. The engagement enabled the alignment of business
architecture and solution capabilities; the design of a selective data transition to SAP
S/4HANA to optimize data management and cloud-related costs; the simplification of
system integrations; the development of a high-level transformation roadmap; and the
establishment of an SAP Competency Center in line with SAP’s Center of Excellence
(CCoE) methodology.
