Feature
• In the SAP Customer Checkout manager,
cloud edition, in the Price lists app, a new
configuration is implemented: Reference
price list (1)
• This feature allows you to mark any price list
as a Reference price list. Once set, the
system automatically compares the prices of
sales items against this reference list. If there
is a price advantage (i.e., a better deal), it is
calculated and clearly displayed below each
item in the receipt details
• The Reference price list is a flexible tool
that can be used for various promotional
purposes, such as:
➢ Special proposals
➢ Season discounts
➢ Short-term offers
➢ Exclusive events
➢ Happy hours and many more
• This feature acts as a marketing tool to
highlight to customers that they are receiving
a special price—better than usual—for a
particular occasion
• Configuration hint: any changes made in the
Price lists app (from SAP Customer
Checkout manager, cloud edition) will be
automatically reflected in the POS after
synchronization, as long as central price list
management is enabled
