Code of Conduct
SAP believes in a diverse and inclusive culture and in creating an environment where all participants can feel
welcome and safe. We are committed not only to the principles that support this culture, but to the day-to-day
practices that allow it to exist. We expect all our employees, guests, and partners to uphold these basic
principles.
Expectations
Three simple rules:
A. Always be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
B. Be aware of your surroundings. Alert the appropriate authority (refer to your conference badge for steps)
if you witness or have been the victim of a dangerous situation or see someone in distress.
C. Care enough to refrain from any demeaning, discriminatory, or destructive behavior and speech.
Behavior
• Do behave in a way that does not disrupt a safe and supportive environment for all event participants.
• Do not engage in disruptive speech or behavior or otherwise interfere with the event or other individuals’
participation in the event.
• Any form of harassing, offensive, discriminatory, or threatening speech or behavior, including (but not
limited to) relating to race, gender, gender identity and expression, body size, appearance, national
origin, religion, disability, marital status, age, sexual orientation, military, or veteran status is unacceptable.
• Refrain from excessively loud, lewd, or offensive behavior or language, including the use of sexually
explicit or offensive language or conduct.
• Comply with any instructions from event and venue staff.
• Legal entities and ordinances have ultimate jurisdiction. Therefore, all applicable federal and regional
laws, venue policies, and authority remain in effect and must be obeyed.
• Your individual conference badge you have been granted is your personal ID at the Event and as such
cannot be shared, swapped with, used by, lent to any other individual. Doing so will lead to you and such
other individual being immediately ejected from the Event and jeopardizes your participation in any
future SAP events.
We look forward to your participation in SAP Connect! www.sap.com.
