In the Basque region of Spain, the reporting of business sales transactions is
critical to transparency and tax collection. To help make the process more efficient
and effective, the Basque government turned to SAP partner, Sothis, to help
develop an electronic invoicing solution.
TicketBAI was developed with the SAP Document and Reporting Compliance
solution on SAP Business Technology Platform using SAP Integration Suite.
Integrated with the SAP ERP application and SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions,
it allows businesses in the three Basque regional council districts to generate,
process, and submit electronic documents according to their unique tax
requirements while also meeting the overall requirements of Spain. The result is
greater efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
