The company is dedicated to reducingcarbon emissions across production processes in 30 locations and seven countries. Forexample, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, it generates electricity from renewable andsolar energy resources in production plants.MFI also wants to increase its use of organic and recycled materials, including in the seatingfabrics it offers. It needed to accurately measure and report on the carbon footprint ofthese fabrics while showing customers the environmental implications of product choicesin real time.
