Picking performance improvement Reduction in ramp up and training time for
employees
Or less to convert an additional warehouse
to new process and technology
30%
Nadro S.A. de C.V.
93% 8 hours
Nadro needed to modernize its warehouse strategy
to stay ahead of increased demand and growth
expectations:
• Higher customer expectations and more
challenging SLAs requested by customers
• Increasing overtime payments to keep up with
new demand
• Challenging workforce environment with high
turnover rates
• Pressure to reduce costs while speeding up the
picking process
• Need to ensure accurate order fulfillment
requiring technology upgrades and better
employee training
To prepare for growth and continue delivering an
exceptional customer experience, Nadro's CIO
began an innovation initiative to modernize the
company's warehouse strategy. The company
looked for technology partners who would help it
fulfill its promise of bringing health to all of Mexico.
Nadro had begun a transformation project using
RISE with SAP that moved its solutions to the cloud,
allowing for faster deployment. The SAP Extended
Warehouse Management application, along with the
TeamViewer Frontline augmented reality solution,
were chosen to help Nadro manage a high volume
of goods with digitalized warehouse processes in
the cloud.
With the roll-out of SAP Extended Warehouse
Management and TeamViewer Frontline, Nadro has
transformed its warehouse operations and now has
a modern foundation that can support growth for
many years to come.
Nadro has been able to improve picking time by
30% while significantly decreasing training time for
its employees. Training time is now down from a
month to mere hours and employees can work more
autonomously more quickly. The company is able to
provide better service to customers, have more
efficient processes, and higher productivity with
complete visibility across the business.

GLOBAL CHALLENGES BUSINESS CHALLENGES
Challenges and Objectives 1 of 2

Wholesale and distribution companies have been met with a series
of challenges over the past several years. From global supply chain
disruptions to workforce shortages to economic volatility,
companies need to become more flexible to adapt to these issues
and meet the ever-increasing customer demand.
Inefficient logistics methods have led to a lack of productivity, high
costs and dissatisfied workforce. Logistics executives are faced
with a common set of areas to address to remain competitive and
meet customer expectations:
• Improve customer satisfaction
• Increase margins per order
• Fulfill more orders in less time
• Improve order accuracy
• Reduce IT costs and complexity
Nadro is the most important wholesaler in Mexico for
pharmaceutical products. While competitors deliver once or twice
per week, Nadro offers daily deliveries, equaling 360,000 deliveries
each month.
With the volume of sales continually increasing by 20-25% YoY, we
needed a solution to help improve our performance to meet this
increased demand, help ensure accurate deliveries, and provide
the highest level of customer service.
At the same time, we experienced long ramp-up times for new
employees and high turnover rates (200% per year) that were
leading to inefficiencies and higher costs due to errors and the
need for more overtime.
