Given the complexities of their supply chain including demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, maintenance, workforce capacity, and transportation planning, Petrobras was faced with broken end-to-end processes, disparate data, gaps in information and processes, as well as stakeholders’ silos.They needed to move on from a legacy system. SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for Gas, as part of the SAP Supply Chain Control Tower, was deployed to optimize end-to-end gas supply and demand visibility. Petrobras transformed overall gas operational efficiency, reliability, and innovation outcomes.
