In 2021, ABB decided to carve-out Turbocharging Division (now Accelleron). Target for Day-2 (full separation) was set to July 2023.Accelleron needed to migrate their current SAP ERP Central Component which had 23 instances outside ABB landscape for their service network in 40 countries (+7 managed outside ERP).Accelleron selected SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition as it is a unique ERP worldwide and being part of the 'Early Adopter' program, they adopted SAP BTP for integration and process automation. They used Localization as a self-service for SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Countries not covered by SAP standard solutions.
