Optimizing Risk-Based Inspection through Adaptable Risk
Models with SAP BTP

AsInt, Inc.
Different regions across the world adhere to
specific regulations and regulatory bodies,
employing unique risk-based inspection
approaches within various industries. The
concept of a “one-size-fits-all” solution is
unrealistic and poses a significant challenge in
the context of risk-based inspections where
diverse industries demand adaptable
approaches.
AsInt Integrity Suite of applications manages
multiple standards and codes for risk-based
inspections worldwide. The “templatized”
approach allows for scaling and adapting from
fully qualitative to fully quantitative solutions.
AsInt’s software capabilities enable users to
choose a relevant Risk-Based Inspection (RBI)
method from a list of various RBI models in the
software.
The seamless integration of AsInt applications with
SAP empowers users to navigate diverse RBI risk
models by selecting a suitable method from a
comprehensive suite of templates. For instance, a
user from the North American region adhering to API
standards can select the API 580/581-based RBI
template and perform a risk-based inspection. In
contrast, a user from Europe can select EN16991
model in the same software as compared to API
standards for North America region.
4X30% 10XReduction in Asset
Inspection costs across the
facility
Increase in productivity Over five years, the benefit
generally is 5 to 20 times the
cost of implementation
