adidas needed a simpler and faster way to automate the Purchase Order (P.O.) amendment processes for 3000+ external factory users. The challenge was to automate legacy, manual, repetitive, and high-volume tasks, which have been at 500K requests per year, and are expected to double. Delays in updating or communicating changes can lead to inventory shortages, missed delivery dates, miscommunication, and increased costs. adidas deployed a solution approach with a single SAP Fiori entry point extending SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition, for external factory users who can land on the SAP Build Work Zone and then access an SAP Build Process Automation tile to address a variety of P.O. amendment workflows. adidas is seeing improved efficiency, visibility, compliance with SLAs, and data accuracy.
