
Conductors, train drivers, and dispatchers are among the most recognized professions at Deutsche Bahn. However, the company's scope goes beyond these roles: it encompasses over 700 distinct professions and employs roughly 211,000 individuals in Germany alone. Given this diversity, prioritizing occupational safety and health is crucial for Deutsche Bahn as an employer. The previous system, which oversaw pre-employment medical exams, occupational medical services, and the management of hazardous materials and accidents, had become outdated. What Deutsche Bahn needed was an integrated system allowing all divisions to work cohesively, one that automates routine entries and ideally grants access for external service providers.
