Achieving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) Targets through Supply Chain Due Diligence App. The client, MEWA Textil-Service, is a typical medium-sized company in (digital) transition based in Wiesbaden, Germany. Across Europe, the client supplies companies with work and protective clothing, cleaning cloths, foot mats and oil spill mats from more than 40 locations. The family-owned company is Europe's industry leader in the field of textile management. In a preliminary project, we provided technical support on all aspects of the new supply chain law, how it affects the client and what are the requirements to successfully comply with the law. With the new law coming into force on January 1st 2023, the client was facing a huge challenge regarding the manual inspection of its more than 3000 supplier from all over the word. We helped the client to have a holistic view of their entire business partner portfolio with an integrated risk management solution. The CYVC software helps the client to monitor their entire supply chain and takes into account any new regulatory requirements in a pragmatic and efficient manner. E.g., risk analysis is now automated, saving the client many hours of manual labour; business partners as well as the evaluation of their own impact and the influence on business partners are continuously monitored and transparency is ensured within the entire global supply chain.
