The vast majority of Royal Mail Group's 140,000 employees are 'frontline' and are based in the mail centers, delivery offices, and driving the fleet. Apart from via line-managers and traditional surface mail, RMG had no way of engaging and 'transacting' with these employees. Our solution was the 'PeopleApp' - an app that is targeted at (but not limited to) frontline colleagues, giving them direct access to their personal information and business services on their own devices. Today over 110,000 employees have downloaded and utilized the app on their own devices, creating a new channel of engagement with employees and allowing them to become 'connected' for the first time, whilst also enabling more efficient delivery of services, reducing the administrative overhead online managers and HR, and allowing employees to access and manage their data anytime. PeopleApp is now the 'channel of choice' for all employee engagement at RMG. Download the Document
