ZF used SAP Integrated Business Planning applications for Supply Chain (SAP IBP) to replace legacy planning software that held the enterprise back. SAP IBP for Demand planning, Inventory Optimization & SAP Supply Chain Control Tower solutions were implemented. Together, the applications provide intelligent capabilities that enhance sales and operations planning, forecasting and demand, inventory optimization along with greater visibility using alerts and in-depth analytics. ZF can now operate with an accurate and unified view of demand and uses new insights to drive demand with 1 integrated ecosystem via SAP IBP for planning across ERP systems.. SAP IBP provides ZF with a new level of insight into demand with flexible control over levels of the supply chain regarding location, product, channel, and customer. ZF can make better decisions about demand that will help it live up to its role as a reliable provider of innovative technologies for the automotive industry.
