In the digital world it is all about processes. At Endress+Hauser we face the challenge of analyzing the performance of these processes in order to establish sustainable end-to-end processes and gain process excellence throughout the entire company. But the operational data (O-Data) from business systems only tell half of the truth. Only in combination with experience data (X-Data) can the whole story behind the process be discovered. Our idea was to bring operational and experience data together for the first time to gain a holistic view on the underlying processes. To do so we linked both data pools in SAP Signavio - with the help of our partner sovanta - and mapped them with the process to show optimization potential. We used this POC to demonstrate the technical feasibility of this cutting-edge approach. Nothing stands in the way of a large roll-out across all processes.
