Siemens LDA, a Siemens Portfolio Company, began a journey to SAP S/4HANA Cloud that rapidly accelerated when Siemens announced at the end of 2021 they would need to be carved out from corporate systems. Siemens LDA had less than a year to move from being clients of the highly complex SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) environment of Siemens to being the first at Siemens to successfully migrate to SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Using the Model Company in enterprise management layer as an accelerator, the team was able to deliver the project on time, with 21 integrations to Siemens systems for finance, accounting, supply chain, custom tools, and more.
