Last year, SAP announced a new strategic pillar that is all about differentiating capabilities extending the core offerings: industry cloud. To turn this new pillar into reality, a program has been set up to accelerate delivery across all industries. While existing strategic partnerships and a rapidly growing ecosystem span across all industries, we also significantly increased our own investments in the development of industry cloud solutions.
Our front-runner industries include automotive, industrial machinery and components, retail, and consumer products, as well as Industry 4.0 as a cross-industry topic that addresses all manufacturing industries. Each industry has services ready for consumption today, with more than 10 new ones announced for release this year in the front-runner industries alone.

The first solution revenue growth management, the SAP Intelligent Trade Claims Management solution, is already available. It offers artificial intelligence (AI)-based matching and settlement of trade claims to promotions.
In the second half of 2021, we are expecting to launch the beta versions of a revenue growth optimization solution and an outlet management and execution solution, which we are co-innovating with several leading consumer product goods companies.
Our revenue growth optimization offering is designed to help consumer product companies drive profitable revenue growth across brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce. The outlet management and execution offering is planned to be a one-stop retail execution solution enabling virtual visits for Consumer Products businesses. It provides intelligent activity recommendations to field representatives across execution channels, such as supermarkets, retail chains and pop-up shops. Key account managers collaborate with internal field reps, third party merchandisers, retailers and store shoppers to perform activities on their behalf. Visits can be accomplished through crowdsourcing tasks such as checking on-shelf compliance by regular store shoppers, or by insourcing activities to store associates such as planogram compliance. By using intelligent cameras and sensors as Amazon Go does, more and more store visits can be executed from a desk.
