The Pay-As-You-Go agreement for SAP BTP is a new payment model that enables customers to get started quickly with services on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). It allows customers to access services for SAP BTP without any up-front financial commitment – no up-front cost or minimum usage requirement. The customer pays only for actual usage of services, thus significantly reducing barriers to entry.
Pay-As-You-Go for SAP BTP offers the flexibility to start small and expand usage over time in lockstep with business needs, all in a productive environment. The agreement is also well suited for doing proofs of concept and pilots prior to scaling. At any point in time, customers can transition to a CPEA agreement. Pay-As-You-Go for SAP BTP is available for services that are covered by CPEA.
COVID-19 and the worldwide lockdowns have accelerated the `as-a-service’ economy while also changing customer expectations in the consumer market and business world. For today’s organizations, getting what they need, when they need it, and having the option to only pay for what they use are new standards by which B2B providers are beginning to be measured. Pay-As-You-Go for SAP BTP is a critical step in better serving customers for the long-term as they have the flexibility to start small, grow over time and have greater control over the pace of their spending. We’ve found it to be quite useful in kick-starting our development efforts with SAP BTP.
