Help the World Run Better and Improve People’s Lives

17 Global Goals to Achieve a Sustainable Future

See how SAP is supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and helping to end poverty, protect the planet, fight diseases, and ensure prosperity for all by 2030.

In line with our purpose to help the world run better and improve people’s lives, SAP has embraced the UN Sustainable Development Goals since their launch in 2015. In discussions with our sustainability council and our external sustainability advisory panel, we defined the SDGs for which there is a tangible and material link between our own operational activities or the use of our software by customers. The potential impacts of our company as well as our products and services related to these eight SDGs in focus are summarized in our SAP Integrated Report – be they positive or negative, direct or indirect.

The stories behind are featured in this web book to showcase tangible examples. They make us equally proud and determined for the work to come. We invite you to join us and help achieve the UN Global Goals through individual initiatives as well as partnerships.

Additionally, our Wheel of Purpose offers a playful way to further engage with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and find out how SAP and our customers help contribute to them.
