JAPAN SOCIETY AWARD

Ishikawa Prefectural Government

After the Noto Peninsula earthquake, Ishikawa Prefecture used SAP BTP to develop an app that aggregated and visualized data from multiple support organizations to monitor evacuation centers. The app also helped eliminate data inconsistencies for faster supply delivery and lifesaving support. 

SUSTAINABILITY PIONEER

Yokogawa Electric Corporation

Yokogawa used SAP Sustainability Footprint Management to calculate the environmental impact of its products. It then launched the OpreX Carbon Footprint Tracer service, providing customers with product-level footprint calculations using real-time data to help drive decarbonization efforts across the manufacturing sector.

DAIICHI KIGENSO KAGAKU KOGYO Co., Ltd.

To strengthen its global management infrastructure and improve operational quality, Daiichi adopted SAP S/4HANA Cloud across sales and production sites. Embracing a fit-to-standard approach helped standardize processes and master data, laying the foundation for long-term innovation and smarter decision-making.

Hitachi, Ltd.

To avoid delays caused by fragmented systems, Hitachi integrated design and production data with a combination of its digital manufacturing solution and SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing for production engineering and operations. The solution is now offered beyond Hitachi to advance innovation in Japan’s manufacturing industry.
