Introduction

Overview

The SAP ACE Awards (the "Awards" or "SAP ACE Awards") is a contest in which Entrants (defined below) will submit an Entry Form and Pitch Deck (the combination of the Entry Form and the Pitch Deck being an "Entry" or "Entries) demonstrating how a business organisation that uses SAP products or services (an "SAP Customer(s)") has successfully deployed a business application that utilises any SAP software, product, cloud-based service, or other technology in its organisation as represented by the following Entry categories:

  • The Game-changer

  • The Disruptor, with subcategories in

    • Customer experience management

    • Human capital management

    • Procurement transformation

    • Supply chain transformation

    • Manufacturing transformation

    • Finance and spend transformation

  • The BTP innovation champion

  • The Business AI Champion

Note that in addition to the Eligibility requirements in Section 3 below, the application that is the subject of the Entry must be primarily deployed in an Eligible Country.

Terms and eligibility

Terms

Eligible Entrants may participate in the SAP ACE Awards by submitting an Entry from July 21, 2025, ay 9 a.m. Indian Standard Time ("IST") to September 19, 2025 at 11 p.m. IST.

Eligibility

Entries can be submitted by an employee of the Customer organisation that is the subject of the Entry. Even an employee of the implementing partner organisation can submit an entry upon obtaining an explicit written authorisation from the customer organisation.

 

INDUS, the SAP India User Group AND SAP reserves the right to verify eligibility and to adjudicate in its sole and absolute discretion on any dispute related to the SAP ACE Awards at any time. The SAP ACE Awards is subject to all state and local laws and is void where prohibited.

 

Entrant warrants that the appropriate corporate officers, executives, managers, or other persons of the entity on whose behalf the Entry was submitted have approved the Entry and understand and agree that these Official Rules will be binding on both the individual submitting the Entry and the entity on whose behalf the Entry was submitted. The Entrant understands that if the Entry is submitted without obtaining the appropriate approval, INDUS and SAP may, in its sole discretion, disqualify the Entrant, the SAP Customer, Partner, and the Entry.

 

ONLY AN EXISTING SAP CUSTOMER CAN ENTER OR WIN. PARTICIPATION IN THE SAP ACE AWARDS CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES.

Entry categories

All Entries must describe live deployments involving SAP technologies. Entries will be assigned to one or more of these categories by the SAP ACE Awards Team and will be judged against other Entries assigned to that category. The categories are as follows:

  • The Game-changer: Recognises companies that have successfully demonstrated enterprise-wide transformation, involving the implementation of complex projects across different lines of business.

  • The Disruptor (customer experience management): Recognises organisations that have demonstrated a customer-first approach. These are businesses that have delivered a seamless customer experience through digital transformation, created new channels of distribution, or significantly enhanced the customer experience, leading to increased customer satisfaction.

  • The Disruptor (human capital management): Recognises organisations that have demonstrated a shift from transactional human capital management to delivering engaging, individualised experiences, laying the groundwork for a more flexible, engaged, and future-ready workforce.

  • The Disruptor (procurement transformation): Recognises organisations that have demonstrated a transformational approach in building procurement excellence to deliver significantly improved cost and process efficiencies—leading to enhanced profitability, better supplier and customer experiences, or even new revenue streams for the company.

  • The Disruptor (supply chain transformation): Recognises organisations that have demonstrated a transformational approach to building supply chain resilience to deliver significantly improved cost and process efficiencies—leading to enhanced profitability, better supplier and customer experiences, or even new revenue streams for the company.

  • The Disruptor (manufacturing transformation): Recognises organisations that have demonstrated innovation in manufacturing operations such as excellent implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems or enhanced asset management, resulting in better operational visibility from shop floor to top floor, significant cost savings, improved product quality, faster time to market, and more.

  • The Disruptor (finance and spend transformation): Recognises organisations that have leveraged technology for finance transformation. These companies have demonstrated an evolution in the finance function within their organisations to drive better governance, enable a real-time and holistic view of their business, and make better, faster, and smarter data-driven decisions.

  • The BTP Innovation Champion: This is a special category by INDUS and SAP recognising companies that have leveraged the SAP Business Technology Platform to develop new innovative solutions using low-code, no-code, or pro-code approaches with measurable business benefits.

  • Business AI Champion: This special category recognizes companies that used SAP AI tools to innovate, leveraging Joule or embedded AI capabilities. Projects must have measurable outcomes, detailed architecture, have gone live after July 1, 2023, and mention at least three positively impacted KPIs.

How to enter

Entrants should submit an Entry Form and Pitch Deck, which includes a PowerPoint for describing the use case for your Entry. The form of the Entry can be found at https://www.sap.com/discover/sap-ace-awards/index.html. Entrants must complete all fields in the Entry Form to qualify. Entries must be in English. If an Entry is incomplete or does not comply with the specifications and these Official Rules, then the Entry will be disqualified, and this disqualification may take place at any point in the Awards process. All decisions by the Judges are final and absolute and are not subject to inquiry or appeal. No purchase or payment is required to enter and any expenses Entrants voluntarily incur during the submission process are their sole responsibility.

 

Judging

Eligible Entries will be judged against the other Entries in their respective Entry Categories as determined by the SAP ACE Awards Team. There will be two (2) rounds.

  • Round 1: Between September 20, 2025 and October 10, 2025 a panel of experts comprising of INDUS jury members and prominent business leaders will shortlist the entries that they determine to be qualified for Round 2.

  • Round 2: Judging will take place between October 11, 2025 and October 24, 2025. Each of the shortlisted entries in each category will be asked to present to the jury panel comprising of INDUS jury members and prominent business leaders (“Judges”). Judges will review the finalists. Entries with the highest score in each entry category will be determined to be the winners or award recipients in that category. Each entry will be evaluated by the Judges based on the following criteria (each of which will be equally weighted):

Use case

  • Complexity, scope, and business criticality of the problem solved

  • How compelling and disruptive is the use case?

  • Does it drive significant change?

Solution

  • Creative problem-solving deployed in the project

Business impact

  • Tangible outcomes

  • Result of the project and magnitude of the outcome

  • Compelling and quantifiable results

Experience

  • Impact of project in improving people's lives and/or customer experience

Future impact

  • Impact on future revenue, profitability, and new ways of doing business

SAP architecture

  • Use of SAP technologies and solutions in the project

  • How well does the project demonstrate the company’s journey to becoming an intelligent enterprise?

Winner notification and prizes

Winner notification

Winners will be announced on  November 14,  2025, by e-mail from the SAP ACE Awards team. If a winner does not respond to the notification attempt within twenty-four (24) hours from the first notification attempt, then SAP reserves the rights to disqualify such winner and select an alternate winner.

 

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the Entries as selected by the Jury: Up to thirty (30) Entries will be selected across the nine (9) categories.

 

Winning Entries in each Entry Category who plan on attending the SAP ACE Awards ceremony will be invited to attend the event at their own expense. 

 

Any prize that is limited to a trophy and a certificate is extended to you under the condition that your acceptance does not violate any applicable laws or policies within your organisation. If you are unsure whether your acceptance may violate any such laws or policies, we strongly encourage you to seek advice from your ethics or compliance official. Organisations that are unable to accept this prize should notify SAP within 24 hours of receiving winning notification from SAP.
