The SFUX guideline was developed to give UX designers, PMs and engineers an overview of SF specific UI elements which specifically address the needs of HXM users. The guideline document gives an insight into the special use cases of the HXM modules such as topics like Search, Filter & Find, the Bite-Snack-Meal method and other interaction patterns that were developed specifically for SuccessFactors.
The document introduces a number of SF specific components such as the library of cards: Goal Card, Engagement Card, Opportunity Card, etc., which were developed with specific requirements for the SF homepage and various module pages. The Card Library is an example, other important parts of the guideline are the filter panels and the detail panel, which were specially developed for SuccessFactor use cases. The policy also describes patterns, such as key actions such as add to calendar, expand map, and nudge, that provide the HXM user with important support and guidance in completing their daily tasks.
We have organized the content into four areas. Each of the areas covers certain aspects of the system. Please explore our content, there will be more coming in the future.
The SFUX guideline is a living document. Expect the content to grow, evolve and shift as we discover and experiment with new UI patterns and improve the existing practices. Check back here often to find what is new and what we are currently focusing on.
