Intro
Metrics Lookup Table is a table which is used by Managers/Employees to set up/follow the mapping relationship between their deliverable and goal score/rating. The table will support auto population, which means if you input an actual and you can get the score directly based on calculation.
Users can use metric lookup table to help calculate ratings of a goal since it maps the relationship of the achievement to a corresponding rating. The table permission is granted via XML. The user is able to add/delete rows in a table. The user is able to adjust the rows sequence when there is more than one row added. Required fields in a table can be achieved at a column level in a table. For optional configurations, if there is an empty row, user is reminded to delete that row, otherwise the goal cannot be saved. The user selects from multiple mappings of the baseline percentage-to-rating relationship already configured in the XML. The user also enters an initial target baseline value in the field, based on these two selections the system will populate the MLT.
