- Configuration Texts: The ID guideline now describes the naming convention for creating a variant of an existing ID. You need to use an underscore and count up by one. Examples are provided under IDs for Situation Objects, Situation Scenarios, Situation Templates, and Situation Types.

UI Elements – SAPUI5
This page has been deprecated. The guideline was deprecated following the deprecation of the component.
Use the Menu component instead of the Action Sheet SAPUI5 component.
New, unified component guidelines that describe the features shared by both the SAPUI5 component and the corresponding web component, based on SAPUI5 as the reference implementation. The new guidelines also highlight any differences between the two implementations.
These consolidated guidelines replace the individual component guidelines for SAPUI5 and SAP Web Components.

Guidelines for placeholder text: Additional guidance for phones:
- Use the placeholder to communicate the current search scope.
- When AI-powered search is enabled, use the placeholder to indicate that the search supports natural language.
Search field: You can now add a search to the side navigation.
Navigation elements: Developer hint added. For navigation elements with a navigation target, use the native href attribute.
Responsiveness: Guideline added. For phone-first use cases, always limit the bottom navigation area to one element: either an action button or a list item.
