Intro
In Core Design Services, we aim to provide the best possible support for the commonly used components in the SAP design system. These are components that we expect to be used broadly across all SAP products.
Component Ownership
We support the components listed in the SAP Design System Inventory that are defined as common components and assigned to the Core Design team:
- Classification: Common
- Design Owner: Core Design System
These components are available as UI5 Web Components, SAPUI5 controls, and in the Fundamental Styles Library.
For other components owned by other teams, we encourage you to contact the responsible team for better support and guidance.

For support on the common components owned by Core Design, you can reach us via the following channels:
- Inbox: General design questions
- Consultation: Discuss your use case and pain points in more detail (design bugs, new features you need, guideline issues).
You can also reach out to the design community that we host together with the product design teams, such as Cloud ERP.
