Intro

Consistency is one of the keys to user-friendly and intuitive UX design. It reduces the user’s cognitive load, as things always behave the same.

Consistency is part of SAP Fiori’s design principles, expressed in the principle of coherence.

The SAP Fiori Design Guidelines define universal rules for the SAP Fiori design language, ensuring consistency across all products. Depending on your product, you may also need to follow additional guidelines that detail out how SAP Fiori is applied in your solution space.

S/4HANA Application Cross-Consistency Rules

These rules were established by S/4HANA UX Design in alignment with the SAP Design UX team to ensure a consistent user experience across all S/4HANA applications built with SAPUI5. They are binding for all S/4HANA and S/4HANA Cloud applications.
