Intro

Consistency is one of the corner stones of easy-to-use software. To avoid a bad user experience (UX) leading to user frustration, consistency must be provided not just within one application but end-to-end along all parts of a scenario.

Learning Goals

To see, how we can avoid user frustration, we will discuss the basic concepts of consistency in an interactive way with real world examples, both from SAP and outside SAP and show tools, steps and processes to achieve E2E UX Consistency. So, there are two parts plus an offer to practice finding inconsistencies:

Awareness training, including many different aspects, like the behavior of the software, terminology, human aspects such as psychology, contexts, expectations or norms, and other factors.
This training is the precondition of the Best Practices and Practicing trainings.
Best Practices training, listing to get consistency in your applications and end-to-end scenarios. Before booking, please make sure, that you have participated in the Awareness training before
Practicing: During this training, you will identify consistency problems in several examples and all findings of the group will be discussed.
