As SAP Fiori for Android transitions to the Horizon theme with its tonal option, updates for specific Material 3 components have been discontinued, shifting our focus to only providing support for the Horizon theme.

Themeable Elements

M3 standard components must be customized to match SAP Fiori for Android’s fundamental style that defines the design language, including Horizon’s:

Accessibility

All states of the M3 standard components need to be tested to ensure that the default states meet SAP accessibility standards.

Focus Visible

In focus state, M3 standard components don’t feature an outline indicator. The outline indicator surrounds the container and matches its shape. For example, in instances where the container is oval, the focus indicator also gets an oval shape.
