Patterns / SAP Companion: Help Access in Modal Dialogs

Intro

The user can access the in-app help by clicking on the help icon in the shell bar.

Help Access in Modal Dialogs

There may be instances where other components, like modal dialog boxes, block the shell bar. This prevents the user from accessing the help icon in the shell bar. In such scenarios, it is advisable to position the help icon button on the right-hand side of the dialog’s header. Use the tertiary button styling for the help icon.

By placing the help icon in the dialog, it guarantees that the user retains access to the SAP Companion.
