Videos are wonderful opportunities to help your customers understand a product be it by demonstrating a functionality or be providing step-by-step introductions to perform a task. Videos need to be brand-conform and require a certain amount of dedication as they need adequate preparation.

Installing Audacity for Audio Recordings

To install Audacity, go to https://help.sap.com/uadashboard, then click on the SAP Video Assistant tile. In the Voice Recording tile, click the Audacity link. To install the necessary presets and program settings, ensure that Audacity is closed, then click the Presets link in the same tile.

Installing Camtasia for Screen Recordings & Editing

You need to order Camtasia at https://go.sap.corp/ordercamtasia. Then go to https://help.sap.com/uadashboard, then click on the SAP Video Assistant tile. Once you have ordered and installed Camtasia from the SAP Software Center, install the how-to video presets. A folder named SAP UA Videos will be created on your computer in the Videos folder and the required video library and export settings will be imported to your Camtasia program.
