Simple graphics are used in documents to visualize information that is better consumable in visual form such as process diagrams, architecture diagrams, etc.

Guidelines

Consistency

Whichever elements you decide to include in your graphic, try to use them consistently and don’t mix too many different elements. Don't use too many different colors and try to stick to SAP colors. the Reduce white space as much as possible. You can find approved shapes in the respective graphic guides.

Alignment

Align the shapes in your graphic. Aligned elements look more professional and the graphic will look tidier. You can do this by hand or use the Arrange function in Power Point.

Icons

The SAP Icon Font, which you can download here, is a large collection of icons. You can use these to visualize roles, hardware and more. They behave like characters so you can change their size and color.
