Seamlessly Shifting Production 

When the COVID-19 crisis spiked demand for alcohol-based hand sanitizer, Johns Hopkins Hospital called on Sagamore Spirit’s rye whiskey distillery to produce the urgently needed hand sanitizer for its frontline medical workers. Using enterprise resource planning software from SAP, Sagamore Spirit swiftly and seamlessly pivoted production from rye whiskey to corn ethanol to start producing 54,000 liters of hand sanitizer for the hospital.
