The closure of more than 123,000 schools has impacted 54.8 million students and their families. GENYOUth, the child health and wellness non-profit, has joined forces with SAP to create the SAP4Kids tool, which helps families find food and other resources during this crisis. Through the combined power of SAP technology and GENYOUth’s unmatched access to school communities (and a little data entry help from more than 200 SAP employee volunteers!), this program aims to connect people to the local resources they need when they need them.
Now more than ever, families need support to get through this unprecedented crisis. GENYOUth and our partners at SAP collaborated to develop SAP4Kids, a Resource Locator Map, accessible online and also through a mobile app, which provides information on over 32K feeding sites and free resources available across the country. We can make our best effort to solve pervasive and mounting issues like hunger when partners come together to leverage their collective assets and insight. I’m proud to have built something with SAP that has such tremendous potential to help those most in need.
