This reduces paperwork and the time spent submitting the necessary documentation. The solution provides a centralized location where grid companies can process and monitor connection requests. The solution can integrate with SAP products by exchanging master data, customer information and technical information.
Automate physical grid connections or grid change assessments
Our solution relieves grid operators from one of their most time consuming recurring mass processes. Based on the given information from the connection portal and the respective grid topology and load data of a grid operator, our solution conducts a fully automated assessment whether the grid connection request or change is technically feasible. Afterwards, the requester (for example a grid customer) gets an immediate response.
Provide automated cost calculations and quotations to grid customers
Based on the given information from the connection portal and the grid topology, our solution automatically calculates optimal cable paths based on terrain and capacity in poles, cabinets, and substations. With help of DSO-specific cost parameters, our solution automatically provides a quotation for the requested grid connection or change. After acceptance by customer, the request is automatically forwarded to the case handling solution.

The service provides an open API for grid requests and responses. A response contains the decision itself (grid change go/no-go), the reason why the decision was made, and the key metrics from the grid that are needed for continuing the work process in the grid connection management system.
Create a grid connection quotation automatically.
Our solution runs grid calculations on the low-voltage circuit, which is affected by the request. The returned values are used in the evaluation process. Subsequently, a customer request specific quotation to fulfill the request is created.
