Simple Inventory Management integrated with Ariba
The Lite Inventory Management (LIM) is a simple inventory application that integrates with SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing solution. LIM allows making use of SAP Ariba Guided Buying as the platform for placing demand on stocked products while automating replenishment based on re-order points.
Overview
Simple Inventory Management
Has the ability to maintain inventory catalogue; inventory managers can configure re-order points, re-order quantities, and monitor stock levels and trends. Integrated with Ariba, thus have visibility of purchasing activity.
Simple User Interface
Business users can use Guided Buying user interface to place demand on stocked products using inventory catalogue loaded to SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing. The demand placed by users is integrated with LIM allowing inventory managers to issue goods.
Automate Replenishment
Ability to set re-order points and quantities. LIM takes care of automatically generating replenishment orders as and when items are issued from the inventory. These replenishment orders are integrated with SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing to remove the need for creating these orders manually.

Inventory Catalogue
Ability to maintain a catalogue of products managed in the Lite Inventory Management application. The inventory catalogue is automatically available in SAP Ariba Guided Buying/Buying and Invoicing via catalogue integration.
Stock Level Visibility and Inventory Report
Inventory managers have real time visibility of stock levels of each product in LIM. The inventory report presents the data in a tabular and graphical format. Business users have visibility into stock levels of inventory products through the catalogue in SAP Ariba Guided Buying.
Configure Re-Order Point and Quantity
Inventory managers can manage re-order points and re-order quantities for each product catalogued in the LIM application. Thus automate the process and ensure they avoid any “out of stock” situation.
